City Arts Song Show was truly a blessing to go to. It had local superstar artists Damien Jurado, Tomo Nakayama of Grand Hallway, Macklemore, and the odd Jesse Sykes. If you've never heard of the Song Show before, its an all acoustic set where some of the greatest local songwriters are invited to come perform. In between songs each artist is asked a few questions pertaining to their life, song writing process, influences, and meaning behind their words. After the show we were privileged to chat it up a little bit with Macklemore and meet the man behind the music.
