Macklemore at the Tripple Door Recap

City Arts Song Show was truly a blessing to go to. It had local superstar artists Damien Jurado, Tomo Nakayama of Grand Hallway, Macklemore, and the odd Jesse Sykes. If you've never heard of the Song Show before, its an all acoustic set where some of the greatest local songwriters are invited to come perform. In between songs each artist is asked a few questions pertaining to their life, song writing process, influences, and meaning behind their words.
After the show we were privileged to chat it up a little bit with Macklemore and meet the man behind the music.
Here is a small exert from his set provided by CityArts.

Haiti Relief Show 2/4/2010

OO girl, you already know this show is gonna be crackin! Common Market, Sol, Dyno Jamz, The Physics! This show is gonna be crazy. I'm gonna be there for sure. You should all come support local hip-hop and help with one of the most destructive disasters to hit.

Cool grey XI release

Big news Jordan Brand lovers! Looks another all time favorite will be dropping, according to sneakernews.com these lovely babies will be dropping in November of this year! Hopefully this doesn't turn into another space jam release fiasco...

starting the day off right

To start things off we hit one of our favorite spots today. goods! they dropped the new "Oceanic Airline" dunk hi, and the blazer both inspired by the hit TV show "Lost." But on the real i'm waiting for the dunk hi with the all gray upper...be on the look out.

We ended up doing a little sneaker run hitting 35th north, and RPS...We ran into a guy at 35th north from LA. Apparently 35th is the one spot in Seattle he's been dying to hit. He claimed to be waiting for a meeting with some buyers for his clothing line called "backstage." Dude seemed pretty legit but ended up just talking about how weed in LA is way easier to get than in Seattle.

Ended the day at "Urbanity," one of my new favorite spots. There's about to be some ill stuff coming to the spot so keep your eyes and ears open. and look out for a shop profile for Urbanity.

Good day and good kicks!
